GRADUATE FELLOWSHIPS in GEO-HUMANITIES
University of Oklahoma
Department of Geography & Environmental Sustainability
Our faculty are seeking exceptional students to join the department’s graduate program in Geo-humanities at the M.A. and Ph.D. levels. As practiced at the University of Oklahoma, Geo-humanities is the meeting point of human geography and the creative arts, as critically applied to politicalecological concerns around the world. Based in the department’s Experimental Geography Studio, students forge their own research agenda while working as research and/or teaching assistants. We encourage students to work in various media of their choosing, including digital/web, sculpture, video, photography, creative writing, and performance.
As such, successful applicants often have backgrounds in geography, computer science, history, design, journalism, architecture, urban planning, fine arts, and/or literature.
