SarkeysGeographers at the University of Oklahoma focus on the analysis of the human-environment interface. We bring to the study of the interface overlapping expertise in the areas of cultural-historical geography (Nostrand, Offen, Rundstrom, Wallach, Wood), applied physical geography (Greene, Hoagland, Spaeth, Tarhule), and Geography Information Science (Myint, Rashed, Yuan). Our focus complements the mission of the College of Geosciences by bridging the social and earth sciences.

Students interested in the B.A. and B.S. degrees should contact Dr. Sally Gros, the department's undergraduate advisor. Students interested in advanced degrees should contact faculty members with whom they share research interests.
